lohan.jpg While the CoP site generally focuses on movie and DVD reviews, every now and then I come by a movie-celeb news article which I feel compelled to share and comment on. This time around, it’s about Lindsay Lohan. There is lots of talk about the February 2009 issue of Interview, some of which has been leaked to the masses. I don’t know if the quotes are taken out of context or other blurbs around them in the article are more defined or less eye grabbing.

Religulous (2008)

ReligulousThis is one of those films that I ended up watching simply because the title caught my eye. Here in The Netherlands, almost nobody knows what Bill Maher is, and this Michael Moore style documentary didn’t make it to many theatres here. Quite surprising, as Maher does visit Amsterdam as part of his quest to discover the reality behind religion. A quest that, although funny enough to watch is really rather poorly executed.

Lemon List 2008 Before the fine year of 2008 draws to a close, it is time for me to do that sad, near traumatic task of composing my annual Lemon List- the worst films of 2008. It should be said that I include, in my list, films that have been released in North America/the U.S.A and not overseas. These are pictures I have seen at one point or another during the past year. Some I have reviewed here on CoP, others…well, my time was robbed enough.
