The Astronaut Farmer (2007)

Astronaut FarmerThe Astronaut Farmer is not only about a guy who builds a rocket. It is the story of a devoted father who gets his family dreaming together – a man who pursues his far-fetched dream at any cost and categorically refuses to let anyone interfere with his plans.

What’s in the box!’), but he does a fine job of creating an intense, albeit, confusing environment that entertains.

The Good Shepherd (2006)

The Good ShepherdBefore I watched it last night I knew very little about this movie. I knew Robert de Niro directed it and that it was supposed to be very good. To me this is an ideal situation. Trailers usually give too much away for my taste, and those typical Hollywood ‘making of’ thingies where everyone involved tells you how great it was to work with everyone else are even worse. The only thing I would have liked to know in advance was that it was two hours and forty-five minutes long…
