Yeah, this one is a toss up. I can find things that I both hate and love about this movie. At times it’s just too stylish and over the top for me. I also had a hard time connecting with Paul Walker’s character. He’s such a jerk, that by the time his true intentions are revealed it felt tacked on.

But this movie did take a lot of risks and is designed to please the Tarantino, Tony Scott, and Guy Ritchie crowd.

I think the litmus test for “Running Scared” comes during the child molester scenes. If you are disgusted by that, there’ no way you’ll be able to stomach the rest of the movie. Personally, I think it’s a pretty entertaining ride, although the epilogue was disappointing.

Fear and Loathing rules!
I didn’t get that movie the first time, but a second (or third) viewing proved to be more “illuminating”.

But that’s completely offtopic.

After Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas this is the second movie ever I paid for I walked out on. Its annoying camera work and the terribly executed action sequences really annoyed me. I heard about the film’s twist at the end and I had seen it coming
