Beep beep! Beep beep!

sms.jpgThe idea behind this site is to let people know what we think about movies. I just read an article about how SMS is used to do the same. Hollywood is blaming kids with mobile phones when asked why this summer’s movies attract less moviegoers. I think it’s wonderful how modern means of telecomunication can affect things like that.

SMS only allows for short “it sucks” kind of messages, polarizing the message. Let me give it a try and review some of these movies in less than 160 characters :)

Hulk: “bad story. cool effects. jennifer c = hot. throwing tanks around is cool.”

T3-ROTM: “not much new stuff but all T movies are great. arnie looks old, robo-girl does not.”

Oh well, I’ll stick with writing long reviews for now…

  • Cool! Au contraire. We should incorporate the ‘SMS Style’ in our own choking reviews! I was about to make my next review read:

‘Valentin: Mushy feel good drama with cute kid’

    Whining Hollywood moneymakers.

  • I just hope they’ll try and make better movies, instead of adding even bigger explosions to even poorer storylines. I’m convinced you need a good/coherent story in action/blockbuster type movies (like in Die Hard for instance). Let’s hope Hollywood shares my believes :)

(This is another interesting article about good movies, and how Adaptation did bad things for Hollywood’s creativity…)
